VersaLith™ LVOC series sheetfed litho inks are specially formulated to have low amounts of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) in them. This serves two purposes: first, to comply with stricter emissions standards, and second, to increase solids content to aid the ink film's adhesion to non-porous substrates like plastic films.

Additionally, this series of inks is shipped with low PTFE content, so they can be overprinted and overvarnished with conventional, water-based, and UV-curable coatings. They do have some polyethylene wax in them to help with surface slip and scuff resistance.
