UViGard EPX is an epoxy acrylate-based coating designed to be used as a press-applied, screen-applied or roller-applied UV-curable coating with maximum hardness, chemical resistance and weather resistance. UViGard EPX can be reduced for flexo/tower applicators by using an appropriate combination of tri- or tetra-functional monomer and photoinitiator.

UViGard EPX will yellow slightly on curing. UViGard EPX requires the use of an absorbent substrate like paper or board stocks, a primer coat, or a surface treatment to increase surface energy on non-absorbent substrates (ie: metal, plastic) in order to ensure excellent adhesion.
