VersaBase 7039 is a multi-purpose, low-viscosity dispersion of 39% PTMA Methyl Violet (Phospho-Molybdic Adic Salt of Violet 3) pigment in a universal vehicle for paste inks. VersaBase 7039 can be used alone for making many types of mixing violet inks. It also hase a relatively low-VOC content, yet it is suitable for making heatset web offset inks as well as quickset sheetfed litho & coldset web offset inks.


Typically used to make mixing violet inks, 35 to 50% of VersaBase 7039 by total formula weight is considered normal for most paste ink formulas.
