VersaBase BIO 1040 GS is a green shade, high tint strength, multi-purpose dispersion of  40% total of Triarylmethane Violet & Blue (Phthalocyanine Blue) pigment in a high bio-renewables content, low VOC multipurpose vehicle for conventional paste inks. VersaBase BIO 1040 GS can be used alone for making many types of Green Shade Reflex Blue inks. Typical Reflex Blue formulas call for 25 to 50% loading of VersaBase 1040 GS. VersaBase BIO 1040 GS's green shade makes it ideal for making Reflex Blue inks for color blends.

Additionally, VersaBase BIO 1040 GS can be used to "tone" many black inks, using approximately 3 to 10% for most paste inks.

Helpful note: To minimize bronze reflex, use high gloss letdown vehicle with maximum hard resin content. For maximum bronze reflex, use low resin, high filler content letdown vehicle.
