VersaBase BIO 1038 RS is a red shade, high tint strength, multi-purpose dispersion of  38% total of Triarylmethane Violet & Blue (Phthalocyanine Blue) pigment in a high bio-renewables content, low VOC multipurpose vehicle for conventional paste inks. VersaBase BIO 1038 RS can be used alone for making many types of Red Shade Reflex Blue inks. Typical Reflex Blue formulas call for 25 to 50% loading of VersaBase 1038 RS. VersaBase BIO 1038 RS's red shade makes it ideal for toning black inks that require a bronzy-red "reflex" in their top tone.

Helpful note: To minimize bronze reflex, use high gloss letdown vehicle with maximum hard resin content. For maximum bronze reflex, use low resin, high filler content letdown vehicle.
