Soybeans Soya Beans

A very large range of ink vehicles is made by Kerley Ink. We have what you are looking for...

Thermasoy Vehicle ULEV (Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle) is a soy oil-based gel vehicle designed to be used as a main vehicle in heatset ink formulations for the purpose of making soy-based heatset inks with low VOC content and high bio/renewables content.

Thermasoy Vehicle ULEV is 85% solids, so you can also use it to reduce VOC content in your current heatset ink formulas. ThermaSoy Vehicle ULEV is a low/mid-vscosity, medium-gel structure vehicle and is best used to control viscosity and gel structure in web offset inks with a tack above 10 points @ 1200 RPM. For lower tack inks, incorporate ThermaSoy Vehicle LT, which is a heavy gel version of this product. Bio/Renewables content of ThermaSoy ULEV is approximatey 33%.

Thermasoy Vehicle ULEV contains approximately 24% Soy Oil, which also makes it suitable for any type of no heat web offset ink, especially if the ink is to be used on any absorbent stock.
