SoyaSpersion™ 32481 Naphthol 2B Red
A very large range of pigment dispersions is made by Kerley Ink Above, rubine red pigment is being milled. We have what you are looking for in colorants for many different inks...
SoyaSpersion 32481 Naphthol Red 2B is a multi-purpose dispersion of 39% Pigment Red 48:1 (Naphthol Red 2B) pigment in a near-zero VOC universal vehicle for paste inks. SoyaSpersion 32481 Naphthol Red 2B can be used alone for making many types of Warm Red inks such as Quickset/Sheetfed Lithographic, low-VOC Heatset Web Offset, Business Forms, and Newsinks. Additionally, the high solids content of SoyaSpersion pigment preparations permit their use for high adhesion lithographic inks intended for printing on plastic film and metal. Metallic driers such as cobalt, manganese, zirconium and cerium are particularly effective when used with SoyaSpersion products.
Typically used to make more chemically-resistant Warm Red inks than is possible with Red Lake C pigment, 40% to 55% of SoyaSpersion 32481 Naphthol Red 2B by total formula weight is considered a normal loading for most paste ink formulas. It is excellent for making economical "coatable" warm reds.
