Soybeans Soya Beans

A very large range of energy-curable inks and vehicles is made by Kerley Ink. We have what you are looking for...

Radion Vehicle HF PBX is a high wetting-power, free flowing 100% acrylate-based Grinding/Dispersing/Flushing vehicle for making UV- & EB-cured offset inks for paper and board substrates as well as some high dyne-value polymer films. Radion Vehicle HF PBX is intended to be combined with lithographic-grade pigments as a sole dispersing vehicle. Thus, as few as 2 ingredients can be utilized to formulate energy curable pigment dispersions: Radion Vehicle HF PBX and pigment.

Depending upon the oil absorption and flow properties of the pigment, Radion Vehicle HF PBX works quite well with pigment dosages in the 28%-38% by weight range. Virtually any pigment normally intended for use in a lithographic ink can be used: from Titanium Dioxide White to Carbon Black and every color in-between...Azo yellows and reds, phthalocyanine blues and green and even some high performace pigments such as quinacridone red. Usually,

Radion Vehicle HF PBX must be pre-warmed on a Cowles-type Mixing blade, then pigment is gradually added to the vehicle until the optimum balance of color strength and flow is reached. Optimum temperature range during mixing is 120 Degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.  Mill the vehicle/pigment combination to desired quality is fineness.
