Econotherm Vehicle FF is a low viscosity, low-tack resin solution style heatset vehicle. Use Econotherm Vehicle FF to reduce the viscosity and tack of heatset web offset inks as well as a long-term viscosity stabilizer in colors such as rubine-based red inks.

Econotherm Vehicle FF can be thought of as a "heatset alkyd" vehicle without the disadvantage of alkyd's too-slow drying speed. Like any alkyd, there is a limit of about 15% usage in the vehicle portion of an ink in order to prevent the vehicle from liquefying the ink excessively.

Consisting of hard, high-melt neutral resin and clean solvent, Econotherm Vehicle FF has no plasticizers, modifiers, or vegetable oils. Thus, Econotherm Vehicle FF maximizes setting performance without hurting any other important properties such as water pickup or scuff resistance.
