Send me more info about this product...

RadionBase MDEC Yellow 174 (Process Yellow) is a special-purpose dispersion of Diarylide Yellow (Yellow 174) pigment in a 100% acrylic vehicle for energy cured (UV or EB) paste inks. RadionBase MDEC Yellow 174 can be used as the sole colorant for making a Process Yellow ink for Quickset/Sheetfed Lithographic metal decorating or for printing on non-porous plastic substrates where flexibility and good adhesion are very important as characteristics.

Typically used to make Process Yellow inks, 45% to 65% of RadionBase MDEC Yellow 174 by total formula weight is considered a normal loading for most paste ink formulas. Excellent results for metal decorating  and plastic film ink formulas can be obtained by blending RadionBase MDEC dispersions with Radion Vehicle MDEC letdown vehicle. Epoxy and Polyester acrylates should be tested for compatibility with any RadionBase MDEC dispersion before use, as they are marginally compatible. RadionBase MDEC series bases can be used for mercury UV, HUV, and LED UV formulas.
