RadionBase MDEC Phthalo Green is a special-purpose dispersion of Phthalocyanine Green (Phthalo Green 7) pigment in a 100% acrylic vehicle for energy cured (UV or EB) paste inks. RadionBase MDEC Phthalo Green can be used as the sole colorant for making a Mixing Green ink for Quickset/Sheetfed Lithographic metal decorating or for printing on non-porous plastic substrates where flexibility and adhesion are very important as characteristics.

Typically used to make Pantone® Green inks, 35% to 55% of RadionBase MDEC Phthalo Green by total formula weight is considered a normal loading for most paste ink formulas. Excellent results for metal decorating  and plastic film ink formulas can be obtained by blending RadionBase MDEC dispersions with Radion Vehicle MDEC letdown vehicle. Epoxy and Polyester acrylates should be tested for compatibility with any RadionBase MDEC dispersion before use, as they are marginally compatible.
