RadionBase PBX PERM Orange 36 is a special-purpose dispersion of 32% Permanent Orange (Azo Orange 36) pigment in a 100% acrylic vehicle for energy cured (UV or EB) paste inks.  This vehicle system has been optimized for use in paper and board, with possible applications in surface-treated or oxidized films as well. RadionBase PBX series energy-curable bases feature soft easy-to-handle viscosity with excellent pigmentation levels. RadionBase PBX series bases can be used for mercury UV, HUV, and LED UV formulas.

Typically used to make fade-proof and more chemically-resistant Orange inks than is possible with Orange 13 pigment, 45% to 65% of RadionBase PBX PERM Orange 36 by total formula weight is considered a normal loading for most paste ink formulas. As with most permanent pigments, Orange 36 is semi-opaque. It is excellent for making economical "coatable" Orange inks.
