Radion Extender LITHO HT is a high-tack, free flowing 100% acrylate-based all-in-one letdown vehicle for UV-cured sheetfed offset inks for paper and board substrates. Radion Extender LITHO HT is intended to be combined with energy-curable pigment dispersions such as RadionBase™ PBX as a sole letdown vehicle. Thus, as few as 2 ingredients can be utilized to formulate light-colored sheetfed and high-tack web offset inks like yellows and reds, because the proper amount of photoinitiator is already included in Radion Extender LITHO HT.

For darker colors such as blue and black, extra photoinitiator should be incorporated into the mix of dispersion and Radion Extender LITHO HT. For blue and similarly-shaded inks, use 4% extra photoinitiator. For black and similarly-shaded inks, use 6% extra photoinitiator such as Kerley's Exocure c-Liquigel photoinitiator package for low-pressure mercury vapor lamps.

In most cases, only 2 to 4 ingredients are necessary to make any of the 4 process colors when Radion Extender LITHO HT is used as the sole letdown vehicle,
