LumaFlex™ GP 35 Black
A very large range of pigment dispersions is made by Kerley Ink Above, rubine red pigment is being milled. We have what you are looking for in colorants for many different inks...
LumaFlex GP 35 Black is a radiation-curable dispersion of 35% Carbon Black (Pigment Black 7) in a mixed oligomer system. This high-flow, low viscosity fluid vehicle system has been optimized for use with paper and board, with possible applications with some surface-treated or oxidized films as well. Recommended dosage of LumaFlex GP 35 Black is 45%-60% by weight in a finished ink. LumaFlex GP series energy-curable bases feature soft easy-to-handle viscosity with excellent pigmentation levels.
Typically used to make Process Black inks, 40% to 60% of LumaFlex GP 35 Black by total formula weight is considered a normal loading for most liquid flexo & gravure ink formulas. Excellent results for coated and uncoated stock flexographic & gravure ink formulas can be obtained by blending LumaFlex GP dispersions with LumaFlex composite letdown varnish. Dense black inks made with LumaFlex GP 35 Black can also benefit from the addition of 4%-8% of LumaFlex GP 40 Phthalo Blue to increase the blue tone of the dense black ink formula.
