Crystagloss™ FF free-flow high tack Vehicle
Soybeans Soya Beans

Crystagloss™ vehicles from Kerley Ink all feature free flow under gravitational shear, and come in a wide range of oil types, boiling ranges, and viscosities.

Crystagloss FF is a high viscosity, high-tack resin solution style heatset/quickset vehicle. Use Crystagloss FF to increase the tack and flow of heatset web offset inks and some litho inks. Crystagloss FF functions well as a long-term viscosity stabilizer in colors such as high-tack rubine-based red inks.

Crystagloss FF can be thought of as a "heavy litho" vehicle without the disadvantage of oleoresinous vehicle's too-slow drying speed. Like any specialty vehicle, there is a limit of about 15% usage in the vehicle portion of an ink in order to prevent the vehicle from tackifying the ink excessively.

Consisting of hard, high-melt neutral resin and clean solvent, Crystagloss FF has no plasticizers, modifiers, or vegetable oils. Thus, Crystagloss FF maximizes setting performance without hurting any other important properties such as water pickup or scuff resistance.
