RadionBase MDEC PERM Orange 36 is a special-purpose dispersion of 35% Permanent Orange (Azo Orange 36) pigment in a 100% acrylic vehicle for energy cured (UV or EB) paste inks. RadionBase MDEC PERM Orange 36 can be used as the sole colorant for making an orange mixing ink for Quickset/Sheetfed Lithographic metal decorating or for printing on non-porous plastic substrates where flexibility and adhesion are very important as characteristics.

Typically used to make fade-proof and chemically resistant spot Orange and Orange-based inks, 45% to 65% of RadionBase MDEC PERM Orange 36 by total formula weight is considered a normal loading for most paste ink formulas. Excellent results for metal decorating  and plastic film ink formulas can be obtained by blending RadionBase MDEC dispersions with Radion Vehicle MDEC letdown vehicle. Epoxy and Polyester acrylates should be tested for compatibility with any RadionBase MDEC dispersion before use, as they are marginally compatible. Orange 36 is semi-opaque. It is excellent for making economical "coatable" Orange inks.
