HSR 7000 is a dispersion of Rhodamine Red yellow shade pigment in a universal heatset/quickset/business forms vehicle. It is mostly used as a base magenta in popular color matching systems. HSR 7000 can be used alone for making many types of extra-clean magenta inks such as Quickset/Sheetfed Lithographic, Heatset Web Offset, Business Forms, and Newsinks. Typically used to make magenta or super-clean process red inks, 35 to 65% of HSR 7000 by total formula weight is considered normal for most paste ink formulas.
