Soytab Black
Soytab Black is a 100% solids, soy oil-based news black. Soytab Black is a low-tack, low viscosity newsink designed for high speed web offset presses, and it must be used on absorbent news stocks. Due to its very high oil content, Soytab
Black can be used with any newsprint stock and will deliver very good resistance to linting. Along with other non-volatile oils, Soytab Black contains at least 11% soybean oil. Soytab is available in two varieties: regular Soytab Black and a "Special Order" item, Soytab "SB" Black, which has a gelled body for better presside handling. See chart below.

Soytab Colors
Along with Soytab Black, a complete line of process and mixing colors is offered. And when you order at least 400 lbs. per color, we can offer you some of our many popular custom shades as well. All the Soytab Colors contain 20&endash;25% soybean oil, and most have no more than 7% VOC content. Soytab Colors are clean and bright, guaranteeing satisfaction in such critical areas as the printing of delicate process shades and fleshtones. Additionally, Soytab Colors deliver very good rub resistance soon after impression because they have a high resin content. Soytab Colors are also unique in the fact that they are based on the "Soytab
Extender" system. In the manufacture of Soytab Colors, only two main ingredients are used: a flushed pigment and our Soytab Extender vehicle. The Soytab Extender vehicle is what makes Soytab Colors what they are, since Soytab Extender is a 100% solids, soy oil-based gel with low tack, neutral color, and a great gelled body.
