One of our “pet projects” over the past few years has been the in-house development of a set of ultraviolet light-curable coatings, along with process colors and black. Our ultimate aim is to produce a rock-solid product that we thoroughly understand ourselves and therefore can assist both our re-sellers and end-users with skilled and certain technical expertise.

Among the “features” of the Radion™ Sheetfed and Web systems will be an in-house developed photoinitator package, controlled rheology, reduced misting and balanced, predicatable water pickup. Both the sheetfed and web systems will employ tack ranges much closer to conventional inks, thus expanding the range of paper substrates which will work well with Radion.

We plan to initally package Radion in both 15 gallon metal drums and 3.5 gallon plastic kits. 5 lb. cans will be available on special order.
