Kerley adds new "bio-based" feature to product documentation

Starting last March, Kerley ink has been documenting the weight-based percentage of biologically-based, renewable materials of every product. Both Material Safety Data Sheets and Product Technical Data sheets now contain a space showing bio-based content percentage. Kerley mainly considers renewable resources in this calculation, which includes such materials as:

Cereal grain & legume derivatives

Vegetable fats and fatty acids

Plant-based rosins

Bio-derived glycerols

Kerley is working to continually increase the percentage of bio-based renewable resources used in all of its formulations as part of the path toward manufacturing a truly "environmentally-friendly" product line.
